For the Ocean Impact Pitchfest 2021, Firetail were awarded the inaugural Ocean Monitoring Spotlight Award sponsored by Dicker Data for their Lagoon AI technology that is helping marine scientists to quickly, accurately and cheaply assess fish populations. The AI solution developed in conjunction with Griffith University can replace existing BRUVS methodology to bring down costs and increase accuracy in bringing hidden undersea knowledge to light.
